Carlitos Sanchez - Tattoo Artist

Hey, I’m Carlitos—a Sacramento native and artist here at Elysian Tattoo Gallery. I started my tattooing journey in February 2023 through an apprenticeship at the shop, and it’s been an incredible experience. I’ve been focused on leveling up my drawing skills, learning the flow of the shop, and soaking up knowledge from the talented artists around me.

I have a strong love for black and grey realism, but I’m also enjoying exploring different styles and expanding my range as I grow in this craft.

Before tattooing, I spent over 14 years as a barber, specializing in hair designs and competing in graphic work. The transition from blending fades to blending tones on skin came pretty naturally—and I’m loving every step of it.

I’m excited to continue working with my amazing clients and to meet many more along the way. Let’s make something great together!
